The University of Montana Western Bulldogs dropped a tough back-and-forth to the Lewis-Clark State College Warriors in five sets Sunday afternoon (25-21, 17-25, 25-16, 15-25, 13-15). The Bulldogs battled through a tough first set to emerge with the win. The Warriors used a strong second set to even things up. The back and forth battle continued with the Bulldogs easily claiming the third set. The Bulldogs looked to close out the match in the fourth but the Warriors had 14 kills in the set to force a deciding fifth. The two teams battled in an intense fifth set, with the Warriors emerging late to steal the win.

Dylan Fowler recorded 25 digs. She now has over 2000 for her career which is a school record.Â
Karen Kale had 24 assists and 15 digs.Â
Abbee Croninger had 12 kills and three blocks.Â
Kyra Palmer had a hitting percentage of 0.318 for eight kills, She also added three blocks.Â

Kylie McCree served for the first time in her college career. She served seven times, recording an ace.Â
The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs dropped to 5-15 overall, and 1-9 in the conference. The Warriors improved to 15-7 overall and 5-5 in conference play.Â

The Bulldogs will close out the regular season this week when they travel to Great Falls, Mont. on Nov. 2 and Havre, Mont. on Nov. 3, to take on the University of Providence Argos at 7 p.m. and MSU-Northern Skylights at 2 p.m.
