Story of the Day
The University of Montana Western Bulldogs fell 79-60 in an exhibition game to the Montana State Bobcats. The Bulldogs stayed close early on, but it wasn't't enough as the Bobcats shot 50 percent from the field opening up a 20 point lead. The Bulldogs were able to stay within striking distance, connecting on eight three-point shots, but were unable to close the gap. The Bulldogs had trouble inside as Montana State clogged the lane not allowing the Bulldogs to get anything going in the paint.
Brianna King led all scorers with 25 points.
