Story of the Day
The University of Montana Western Bulldogs beat the Montana State University - Northern Skylights in straight sets Saturday night (25-15, 25-7, 25-21). The Bulldogs did not mess around combing for only six attacking errors and as team had a hitting percentage of 0.368. The Bulldogs were led by Kylie McCree (14 kills, 0.765 hitting percentage), Kyra Palmer (eight kills, 0.571 hitting percentage), and Ellen Wolferman (six kills, 0.455 hitting percentage). 

Stars of the Games
Freshman Karen Kale recorded a career high 25 assists, added five digs, and two service aces.
Senior Kylie McCree had a 0.765 hitting percentage with 14 kills. 
Kyra Palmer had eight kills and a 0.571 hitting percentage. 
Dylan Fowler recorded 22 digs.

The Bulldogs recorded a season high team hitting percentage 0.368. 

The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs picked up their first conference win on the season improving ot 1-6,  with an overall record of 5-12. While the Skylights dropped to 1-17 and 0-6 in the conference.
 
Up Next
The Bulldogs will be in action next on Oct. 20, when they travel to Billings, Mont. to face the Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears. The match is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
