Kidgel, Bulldogs Knock off Rocky, Claim Share of Conference Title

Story of the Day
The 10th ranked Bulldogs claimed at least a share of the Frontier Conference title with an 82-79 victory over the Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears Thursday night in Billings, Mont. The Bulldogs had five players score in double figures as they jumped out to a nine point lead in the first half. Rocky would not go away quietly, chipping away at the Bulldog lead until they eventually took a five point lead late in the game. Warren Helligar and Zaccheus Darko-Kelly hit clutch three-point shots in the final seconds to give the Bulldogs the victory. 

Stars of the Game
Kooper Kidgell scored 21 points and pulled down 5 rebounds.
Dom Robinson scored 14 points, grabbed 5 boards, and had 3 assists.
Brandon Jones scored 13 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, dished out 4 assists, and had 3 blocks.
Zaccheus Darko-Kelly added 13 points and had 6 rebounds.
Warren Helligar added 11 points.

The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs claimed at least a share of the conference title with the win. They won the season series against Rocky winning two and dropping one. They improved to 13-4 in the Frontier and 23-5 overall. The Battlin' Bears fell to 8-8 in the conference and 17-11 overall. 

Up Next
The Bulldogs will close out the regular season against Carroll College in Helena, Mont. on Feb. 24. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. A win by the Bulldogs would give them the outright conference championship and a first round by. A loss would mean they share the title with Carroll and would be a no.2 seed in the playoffs.
