For the second straight game the third-ranked Bulldogs started the game fast, quickly building a double-digit lead, then held on over the final 30 minutes. The Bulldogs fought for a tough 82-74 win over the University of Providence Argos. Brianna King led the way with 37 points on 13-21 shooting, including going 4-8 form beyond the arc. Not to be outdone, Tori Anderson scored a career-high 25 points, going 8-14 from the floor and 7-10 from downtown. The Bulldogs started fast building an 18 point lead halfway through the second quarter. The Argos started to chip away at the lead eventually trimming it to just five points with three-minutes remaining in the game. Free-throws down the stretch secured the win for the Bulldogs.Â
Turning Point
With the Bulldogs holding a 14 point lead with six minutes left in the game, the Argos went on 11-2 run to cut the lead to five with just over three minutes remaining to keep things interesting down the stretch.
It Was Over When
Brianna King hit two free-throws with 20 seconds left to give the Bulldogs an eight-point lead. 
Individual Leaders
Brianna King scored a season-high 37 points. She also added five steals, two rebounds, and two blocks.Â
Tori Anderson was 7-10 from long range for a career-high 25 points. She added three rebounds, and a assist.Â
Tristan Murphy led the Argos with 22 points and seven rebounds.Â
Parker Esary recorded her 10th double-double of the season with 11 points and 13 rebounds.Â
