The University of Providence Argos swept the Bulldogs in straight sets Thursday night. The Bulldogs started fast jumping out to a quick 6-1 lead. The Argos fought back to tie the set at 15. They ended up scoring the last six points of the set to go up one game to none. That late rally sparked the Argos as they quickly built a 19-10 lead in the second set. The Bulldogs rally fell short and UP took a two game lead. The Bulldogs wouldn't go down without a fight as they battled in the third. The Argos held off the late charge and escaped with the match victory.
