The Bulldogs and Orediggers put on an offensive clinic in the opening ten minutes Thursday night. The teams couldn't miss as the Bulldogs shot 62.5 percent from the the floor and Tech was connecting at a 52.9 percent clip. The teams slowed down only slightly in the second quarter with both teams hovering around 50 percent from the floor. Bri King led the way with 26 points for the Bulldogs, who got significant scoring all-around as they were able to build upon their lead to blow past the Orediggers to sweep the season series.
Individual Leaders
- Brianna King scored a game-high 26 points, and added four assists and four steals.Â
- Britt Cooper scored 14 points, seven rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a steal.Â
- Paige Holmes scored 13 points, three rebounds, two assists, and a steal.Â
- Savanna Bignell scored 11 points, four rebounds, four steals, and two assists.
- Cierra Lamey scored 11 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals.Â
- Mesa Williams scored 22 points to lead the Orediggers. She added three assists and three steals.Â
Inside the Box Score
- The Bulldogs forced 21 Tech turnovers and scored 23 points off those miscues.
- With the Score tied at 17 in the first quarter, UMW was shooting 72 percent from the floor and the Orediggers 61 percent.

The Bulldogs will close out the home portion of the regular season on Friday, Feb. 15 when they face No. 17 Lewis-Clark State College in the Straugh Gymnasium. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. After the game their will be a short ceremony honoring the Bulldogs six seniors.Â
