The third-ranked Bulldogs defeated another ranked opponent beating No.21Â Rocky Mountain College 59-55 at home Saturday night.Â
The Bulldogs found themselves in an early 8-0 hole before
Brianna King scored 10 of her game-high 25 points in the quarter to bring the Bulldogs to within one after one period of play. The Bulldogs built several multiple possession leads, but couldn't put the Battlin' Bears away. Rocky kept the game close but couldn't overtake the Bulldogs as Montana Western held on for a hard fought win.Â
Individual Leaders
- Brianna King scored a game-high 25 points. She added three steals, two assists, and two rebounds.
- Britt Cooper recorded her third double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds.Â
- Markaela Francis lead the Battlin' Bears with 13 points, nine rebounds, and two steals.
- Kloie Thatcher had 11 points, three assists, two rebounds, and eight turnovers for Rocky.
- Alecia Chamberlin scored 10 points and eight rebounds for RMC.Â
