The Montana Western Bulldogs overcame a slow start to roll to a huge opening round win over Georgetown to advance to the second-round. The Bulldogs found themselves in early 8-0 hole, before they came storming back with the help of back-to-back Tori Anderson 3-pointers to give the Bulldogs a seven point lead. That was the Spark the Bulldogs needed as they raced ahead and cruised to a big win.Â
Individual Leaders
- Tori Anderson went 7-10 from the field to led all scorers with 20 points. She added three rebounds and two assists.Â
- Brianna King scored 11 points, six assists, five rebounds, and four steals.Â
- Savanna Bignell scored 14 points and six rebounds.Â
- Shannon Worster scored 13 points and four assists.Â
- Mesa King scored a career-high eight points on 4-4 shooting.Â
- Madison Darnell scored 14 points, six rebounds, and four assists to lead Georgetown.Â

"Our bench was the difference tonight. We had a lot of foul trouble early on and our bench really did a great job."
