The Montana Western Bulldogs used a strong third quarter to pull away from Lyon College in the second-round of the NAIA Div I Women's Basketball Championship. The Bulldogs advance to the quarterfinals for the second straight season behind Brianna King's 27 points and Britt Cooper's double-double. 

• Brianna King scored a game-high 27 points. She added three assists, three rebounds, and three steals. 
• Britt Cooper had a 17 point 12 rebound double-double.
• Cierra Lamey pulled down 12 rebounds, and scored eight points.
• Samantha French and Madison Riley each scored 14 points apiece for the Scots.

"Really proud of our toughness today. Lyon is a difficult team to play against because they are so disciplines on the offensive end. We are excited for tomorrow."

• The Bulldogs shot 42.4 percent from the floor and 35.3 from 3-point range. 
• UMW out rebounded Lyon 39-28, and out scored the Tigers in the paint 30-20.

The Bulldogs will play The Master's University (Calif.) in the quarterfinals on Saturday, March 16 at 4 p.m.
