Billings, Mont. - The Montana Western men's and women's cross country ran at eh Frontier Conference Preview Meet Friday afternoon at Amend Park. The women's team finished fifth overall and the men's team didn't score as they only had three runners compete. 

The women's team was led by reigning Conference Runner of the Week Eireann O'Connor, who placed third overall in the 5k race with a time of 19:48. In addition, Shelby Walls finished 18th (20:55), Marley May placed 19th (20:55), Emma Adams finished 26th (21:20), Mason Baseley placed 35th (21:48), Morgan Baseley finished 41st (22:13), and Liz Varner finished 56th (24:02). 

In the men's 8k race, senior Josh Jessop led the Bulldogs with a 12th place finish (27:59). In addition, Matt Wilson finished 37th (30:00), and Luke Lutz finished 40th (30:10). 

The Bulldogs will be back in action on Oct. 4 when they travel to Missoula, Mont. to run at the University of Montana Open.
