The Bulldogs opened the LaQuinta/Rib Crib - KWU Invitational with a straight set loss to the twelfth ranked team in the nation. The Columbia College Cougars started the tournament off swinging, recording 47 kills and a team hitting percentage of 0.227. They quickly jumped out to big leads in the first and second sets and fended off any Bulldog rally to take a quick two-sets to none lead. The third set went back and forth until a late CC rally propelled them to victoryÂ
