Frontier Conference Release

Whitefish, Mont, - Univeristy of Montana Western quarterback Jon Jund was named Frontier Conference Offensive Player of the Week. 

Jon Jund, Montana Western, 5-foot-11, 200 lbs, sophomore quarterback from Spring Creek, Nevada. In No.19 Montana Western's 49-13 home conference win over Eastern Oregon, Jund was 22 of 30 passing for 378 yards, four touchdowns and one interception against an Eastern Oregon Defense that had only allowed a total of 545 passing yards in three conference games this season. He also rushed for 31 yards and one touchdown on six carries.

This is the first time this season and second in his career that Jund has won the award.
