Men's Basketball Game Notes - Week 17

Bulldogs host Montana Tech and LC State to Close 2019-20 Season

COMING UP: The Bulldogs will close out the regular season with home games against Montana Tech on Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. and No. 7 Lewis-Clark State College on Feb. 29 at 7:30 p.m.

LISTEN: Both games can be heard on the air on KDBM AM 1490 in Dillon or worldwide online. Justin Fox and Sage Fadness will be on the call providing the play-by-play for all home games this season

SENIOR NIGHT: The Bulldogs will honor their seniors, Cedric Boone, Connor Burkhart and Derrek Durrocher, with a short ceremony before the game against LC State on Saturday. 

LOOKING AT THE OPPONENT - MONTANA TECH: The Bulldogs look to avoid being swept by the Orediggers for the first time since the 2006-07 season. Tech is leading the nation in turnover margin (5.9) and is tenth in total steals. Sindou Diallo is 18th in the country averaging 18.8 points a game. Taylor England is 10th in the country shooting 59.5 percent from the floor. He also leads the team in rebounds per game (8.6) and blocks (25). Drew Huse averages 2.6 assists a game and Dylan Pannabecker records 1.6 steals 
a game. 

LOOKING AT THE OPPONENT - LEWIS-CLARK STATE: The Warriors had their 16 game win streak snapped las weekend and lost their first home game of the season. They hold a two game lead atop the conference with two game remaining. The Warriors are second in the nation in 3-point percentage (43.3) averaging 11.4 made 3-point shots a game (fourth in the nation) and have a 23.1 scoring margin (third in the nation). Damek Mitchell is having an All-American season he is shooting 47.7 percent from the floor and is averaging 13.1 points, 6.9 assists (fourth in the nation), 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals .
