Men's Basketball Game Notes - Week 14

Bulldogs host Lights, travel to Univ. of Providence

COMING UP: The Bulldogs will host Montana State University-Northern on Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. and will hit the road to face No. 11 University of Providence in Great Falls on Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m.

The game MSU-Northern can be streamed online via the Bulldog Sports Network. The game at Providence can be viewed through UP's playslight page.

LISTEN: Both games can be heard on KDBM AM 1490 in Dillon or worldwide online. Justin Fox and Sage Fadness will be on the call providing the play-by-play for all home games this season.

LOOKING AT THE OPPONENT - MSU-NORTHERN: The Lights make their first trip to Dillon this season. They squeaked by the Bulldogs back in December 67-65 holding UMW to just three made 3-point field goals. The Lights boast the nations top assist/turnover ratio (1.77) and are holding opponents to 64.4 points a game (5th in the nation). They are 14th in the nation in total blocks (78) with Cedric Crutchfield accounting for 25 of them (15th in the nation). Mascio McCadney is leading the team with 15.1 points and 1.2 steals a game. Adam Huse is fourth in the country with an assist/turnover ratio of 3.4 and leads the team with 3.9 assists a game. 

LOOKING AT THE OPPONENT - UNIVERSITY OF PROVIDENCE: The Bulldogs will make their first of two trips to the Electric City. Providence won the first match-up between the school in December 90-74. The Argos Zaccheus Darko-Kelly is ranked in the top-15 nationally in nine different categories and leads the team with 21.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.4 steals, and 1.5 blocks a game. The Argos are fifth in the nation in assists (19.2) and steals per game (10.1).
