Helena, Mont. - The Montana Western cross country teams ran the Frontier Conference Rumble on a blustery day in the Capital City.
All-AmericanÂ
Eireann O'Connor led the Bulldog women in the 5k for the second straight meet. She finished third overall with a time of 18:42.2. SeniorÂ
Marley May finished 10th in 19:48.3.Â
Emma Lehr (11th, 20:02.5), freshmanÂ
Jodi Cameron (14th, 20:15.8) rounded out the scoring five. Finishing just behind were

In the men's 8k race, juniorÂ
Matt Wilson led the way for Montana Western finishing in sixth place with a time of 27:31.6.
Aidan Vlasaty came in 12th place with a time of 28:29.5.
Joel Lavergne finished 15th in 28:48.1,Â
Luke Lutz finished in 24th with a time of 30:31.6 and freshmenÂ
Joe Lamb (30:40.9) rounded out the scoring five for the Bulldogs.
"Yesterday was a good step forward for our teams," head coach
Dylan Zitzer said. "While we are not were we want to be as a group, I think we showed much more of the potential than racing in Havre. Practices are clicking along and I'm optimistic about our growth as group."
The Bulldogs are off this week and return to action at the Rocky Mountain Invite in Billings, Mont. on Oct. 9.
