A 17-2 run by the MSU-Northern Lights late in the second half broke open a deadlock a pushed the Lights to 69-55 win on Sunday evening. The Bulldogs struggled from the field (21-60) for 35 percent, while the Lights shot 53.7 percent from the floor.


Top Performers 

• Jalen Hodges scored 19 points and two blocks. 
• Max Clark had 11 point 10 rebounds double-double. He added six assists and two steals. 
• Jamal Stephenson scored 10 points, two rebounds and two assists. 
• David Harris scored 18 points, six rebounds and three assists for MSU-Northern.
• Mascio McCadney scored 15 points, seven rebounds, two assists, a block and an assist for the Lights.

 
Inside the Box Score

• Neither team made a 3-point basket in the first half going a combined 0-15.
• Both teams pounded the ball inside with the Lights winning the battle of the paint 42-38.
• The Bulldogs struggled from 3-point range, connecting on only two of 18 attempts.

The Bulldogs will be on the road next weekend to face Carroll College on Jan. 16 in Helena, Mont. Tip-off from the P.E. Center is set for 7 p.m.
