Men's Basketball Game Notes - Jan. 26

Bulldogs face Montana Tech for three games

January 26, 2021

COMING UP: The Bulldogs will host the Orediggers on Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. in the Straugh Gymnasium. Then they will travel to Butte, Mont. to face them again on Saturday Jan 30 at 7 p.m. and Sunday Jan. 31 at 4 p.m. The Game on the 27th is a make-up from the Dec. 13 game that was postponed due to COVID precautions.

NO FANS TO START THE SEASON:
Due to Frontier Conference COVID-19 protocols, spectators will not be permitted in the Straugh Gymnasium or the HPER Complex until further notice.

WATCH LIVE: Wednesday's home game can be streamed on the Bulldog Sports Network. The weekend games in Butte can be streamed on Montana Tech's All-Access page. 

LIVE STATS: Live stats will be available on Dakstats live stats portal.

LISTEN: All games can be heard on the air on KDBM AM 1490 in Dillon or worldwide online. This weekends games in Butte will be simulcast from KBOW AM 550. Justin Fox will be on the call providing the play-by-play for all home games this season.

LOOKING AT THE OPPONENT - MONTANA TECH:
The Bulldogs will have to stop Sindou Diallo who is averaging 19.1 points and 2.2 assists per game. They will also face a tall task in guarding 6-8 post Cody Baumstarck who is averaging 8.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks a game. He is 25th in the nation in total blocks (21) and 20th in offensive rebounds per game(3.4). The Orediggers are coming off of a couple big losses to Carroll College last weekend, But they saw the return of Taylor England who missed five weeks of action due to an injury.
