The Bulldogs fell 41-31 to the Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears Saturday afternoon in Billiings. The loss brought to an end UMW's three game win streak and droped the Bulldogs into a four way tie for second place in the Frontier Conference. RMC used a 31 point second quarter to take a 31-10 lead at the half. Montana Western stormed back in the second half, rallying to tie the game at 31 in the third quarter. But the Bulldogs couldn't maintain the momentum as turnovers once again proved costly allowing Rocky to upset the Bulldogs.Â
Top Performers
- Jon Jund was 18-41 for 350 yards two touchdowns and two interceptions.
- Trey Mounts had three receptions for 90 yards and a score. He had 59 return yards.
- Joe Caicedo had 11 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble.Â
- Nathan Dick was 18-39 for 227 yards and a touchdown and a pick. He also rushed the ball for 65 yards a score for Rocky.
