Bulldogs Fall in Five Set Heartbreaker

Score: Montana Western 2 – Carroll College 3 (31-29, 14-25, 14-25, 30-28, 14-16)
Record: UMW (8-10, 1-5), CC (11-11, 4-2)
Location: P.E. Center - Helena, Mont. 

The Bulldogs and Saints battled in a five set thriller. The Bulldog we unable to hold a 12-6 lead in the final fame as the Saints rallied for the win and season sweep of the Bulldogs. 

Top Performers

  • Emman Peterson had 14 kills, hit .294 and added a block
  • Kelsey Goddard had a career-high 44 digs. 
  • Kaylee Fritz had 25 assists and Abbey Schwager added 20.
  • Morgan Kirch had 33 digs. 
  • Taelyr Krantz had 19 kills and hit .405 for Carroll College
  • Julia Carr had 33 digs for the Saints
  • Kylie Kackman had 25 assists for Carroll

  • Carroll had 137 total digs and the Bulldogs had 127.
