BILLINGS, Mont. - The Bulldogs men's and women's cross country team competed at the Yellowjacket Open hosted by the Montana State University Billings at Amend Park Friday morning.
Eireann O'Connor led the women to a second place team finish. She finished third overall crossing the line in 18:36. The next five Bulldog runner finished in a a pack within 22 seconds of each other.
Araceli Ramirez came in 19th place (20:33.8).
Mason Baseley finished in 20th place (20:23.9).
Morgan Baseley finished in 21st place (20:26.9),
Annie Taylor finished in 22nd place (20.34.3) and
Liz Varner came in 24th place (20:45.5).
Luke Lutz led the way for the Bulldog men. He finished 23rd overall with a time of 26:30.
Joe Lamb was a few seconds behind (26:56) to finish in 32nd place.
Jonathan Harrison finished in 41st place (27:27)
Jesse McMurtrey finished in 27:37 to come in 44th
and
Isaiah Powell came in 69th place in 33:19 to give the Bulldogs their first team finishe of the year.
The Bulldogs will head to Lewiston, Idaho on Oct. 16 at the Inland Empire Championship.
