The Bulldogs fell to the 18th ranked Battlin' Bears in straight sets Saturday afternoon. Rocky started the match strong quickly taking a commanding 19-5 lead, before claiming the first set 25-12. The second set followed the same script, Rocky once again powered their way to a 20-9 lead en route to a 25-13 win. The third set was more of the same as Rocky took  9-0 lead. Western responded well, climbing back to trail 12-16. But the Bears pulled away down the stretch to claim the set 25-17 and take the match. 

Top Performers

• Cady Siemion had seven kills and 12 digs.
• Abbey Schwager had 17 assists, 11 digs and a block.
• Kyra Oakland had 10 kills and a .333 hitting percentage for Rocky Mountain College
• Natalie Hilderman had 33 assists and nine digs for the Battlin' Bears.
• Morgan Allen had eight kills, six digs and three blocks for Rocky.

• The Bulldogs committed 43 total errors.  

Up Next
The Bulldogs will face Montana Tech in Butte, Mont. next weekend. First serve is set for 7 p.m. on Feb. 19 and 1 p.m on Feb. 20.
