Bulldogs travel to Providence for mid-week tilt

COMING UP: The Bulldogs will face University of Providence on Wednesday Feb. 17. Tip-off from the McLaughlin Center set for 4 p.m. for the women and 6 p.m. for the men. 

NO SPECTATORS: Due to Frontier Conference COVID-19 protocols, spectators will not be permitted in the McLaughlin Center until further notice.

LOOKING AT THE OPPONENT - UNIVERSITY OF PROVIDENCE: 
WOMEN: The Bulldogs and Argos will close out the season series. UMW leads 2-1 after winning 73-43 a couple of weeks ago in Great Falls. The Argos are lead by Emilee Maldonado who is second in the nation in free-throw percentage (95.3), fifth in 3-point percentage (51.1) and 11th in assists per game (5.3). She is also averaging 17.4 points and 2.1 steals per game. Parker Esary is fifth in the nation in field goal percentage (62.7). She is averaging 14.8 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. 

MEN: The Bulldogs and Argos will close out the season series. The Argos lead 1-0 after escaping with a 118-110 double overtime win a couple of weeks ago.The Bulldogs will have to stop Zaccheus Darko-Kelly who is leading the Argos in every statistical category. He is shooting 47.1 percent and is averaging 19.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.3 steals per game. All five of the Argo starters are shooting over 41.5  percent from the floor. Marcus Stephens is averaging 16.4 points and 4.1 rebounds a game. Uzan Cap is scoring 10.9 points and David Harris-Wiliams is a scoring 10.7 points a game.
