The Argos pulled away down the stretch to edge the Bulldogs 81-76 Wednesday night. The teams battled for 36 minutes before UP took a seven point lead with four minutes remaining. The Argos kept the Bulldogs at bay, not allowing them to tie the game. Both teams shot 46 percent from the field an made nine 3-point field goals. 

Top Performers 

• Jalen Hodges scored 21 points, two blocks, two assists a rebound and a steal.
• Max Clark scored 16 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and three steals. 
• Jamal Stephenson scored 13 points, three rebounds and two assists. 
• Zaccheus Darko-Kelly scored 14 points, eight assists and five rebounds for the Argos. 
• Jaxen Hashley scored 14 points and eight rebounds for Providence.

 
Inside the Box Score

• The Bulldogs held Darko-Kelly to zero first half points. 
• The Argos won the rebounding battle 36-27.

Up Next
The Bulldogs will return home to host Carroll College on Feb. 20 and 21. Tip-off from the Straugh Gymnasium is set for 7 p.m. on Saturday and 4 p.m. on Sunday.
