The Bulldogs fell to the Carroll College Fighting Saints in straight sets Friday night. The Saints quickly jumped out to a 9-2 lead in the first set before the Bulldogs battled back to trail 18-20 before falling 25-20. Teh Saints offense was to powerful in the second set overwhelming the Bulldogs and they took a 19-4 lead, coasting to a 25-10 win. The third set was much the same at the start. The Saints to a commanding 18-6 lead before the Bulldogs began to rally. Montana Western slowly cut into the deficit clawing back to trail by one at 21-22. The Bulldogs could rally any more as Carroll got three of the next four points to escape the uspset and sweepthe match. 

Top Performers

• Cady Siemion had nine kills and eight digs
• Abbey Schwager had 21 assists and five digs
• Lexie Gleasman had 11 kills, hit .647 and had six digs for Carroll College
• Ali Williams had 27 assists and five digs for the Saints. 

Inside the Box Score

• The two teams combined for 15 service aces, with Carroll recording 10.

The Bulldogs will face Carroll College again tomorrow Feb. 6 at 1 p.m.
