Michael Haverfield hit a three from the right elbow with 1.2 second left to lift the Bulldogs to a 77-74 win over Rocky Saturday night. The Bulldogs held a seven point lead with two minutes left, but the Bears clawed their way back and tied the game with 5.5 seconds left on a deep three from Darrius Henderson.
Jamal Stephenson then took the inbound pass and sprinted up floor where he found Haverfield who hit the dagger.Â

- Max Clark scored 17 points, nine rebounds, six assists and a steal.Â
- Jamal Stephenson scored 22 points on 8-17 shooting. He added four rebounds, three assists and two steals.
- Jalen Hodges scored 14 points, four rebounds, two steals and a block.Â
- Nick Hart scored 26 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and a steal for Rocky Mountain College,Â
- Maxim Stephens scored 12 points and eight rebounds for the Battlin' Bears.Â

- Both teams struggled from 3-point range, shooting a combined 11-44. While the 3-point shot wasn't falling, they pounded the ball inside, scoring a combined 88 points (RMC 48, UMW 40) in the paint.
- Rocky won the battle of the glass, out rebounding the Bulldogs 48-29.
