DILLON, Mont. - The 2020-21 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the competition realm and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Montana Western seniors
Marley Greene and
Eireann O'Connor were named to the CoSIDA NAIA Division Academic All-District Team, district four for the 2020-21 season. They are the only members of the team selected from the Frontier Conference. District four is made up of schools from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and Canada. Players are selected for both their athletic and academic prowess.
O'Connor earned all-conference honors this past season and a fourth straight trip the NAIA National Championship meet. Greene Earned All-Conference honors for the second straight season in 2020-21.
Both Greene and O'Connor were named to the all-district team for the first time in their careers and join former Bulldogs Mindy Kaufman and Tanner Lehr as the only Bulldog Cross Country and Track runners to receive the honor.
