Whitefish, Mont. – The Bulldog Football team earned two ERCK Hotels/Conference Player of the Week awards this week after an upset win over the No. 20 ranked Montana Tech Orediggers this past weekend.

Reese Neville, a 6-foot, 205 lbs, redshirt senior running back from Yerington, Nev. was voted conference offensive player of the week. In Montana Western's 27-21 upset road win over No. 20 Montana Tech, Neville rushed for 160 yards on 22 carries, averaging 7.2 yards per carry, including a 49-yard rush on a Bulldog scoring drive.

John Mears, a 5-foot-9 180 lbs, redshirt sophomore kicker from Belgrade, Mont. was voted conference special teams player of the week. Mears was 3 for 3 in extra point attempts and was a perfect 2 for 2 in field goals (24-yards, 25-yards).
