DILLON, Mont. – UMW athletics has a busy week ahead with fall and winter sports up and going concurrently. The women's volleyball team is in Butte, Mont. this weekend for the Frontier Conference Postseason Tournament. The men's basketball team will be at home as they host the Western Classic this weekend with Eastern Oregon and Dickinson State (N.D.) traveling to Dillon. The women's basketball team will be on a long road trip where they will travel around Oregon and take on various teams across a span of four days. The UMW football team will have their final game of the season in Billings, Mont. as they take on Rocky Mountain College.
 
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The UMW women's basketball team comes off of a big 83-58 win over Dickinson State (N.D.) last weekend at home. They will take to the road to face three Oregon teams over the course of the week.

VOLLEYBALL
The UMW volleyball team finished up Frontier Conference play this past week. The Bulldogs finished 2-8 in conference play and 10-16 in the regular season. They received the No. 6 seed in the conference tournament and will face the No. 3 seeded Carroll College on Friday at 1PM MST. If they win, they will take on the No. 1 seeded Montana Tech Orediggers at 5PM on Friday evening.

FOOTBALL
The Bulldog football team (6-4, 5-4) will be on the road this week for their last game of the season. The Bulldogs will be in Billings, Mont. to take on the Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears (6-3, 6-3). The last time the two teams faced, the Bulldogs lost on Homecoming 26-41 on Vigilante Field on Oct. 1. The Bulldogs come into the matchup on a three-game win streak after defeating the previously No. 20 ranked Montana Tech Orediggers by a score of 27-21 this past weekend. The Battlin' Bears come into the matchup after scraping out a win against MSU-Northern 9-0 last weekend in Havre, Mont.
