BILLINGS, Mont.—The Montana Western Bulldogs (15-12, 5-10) fell on the road to the No. 15 Rocky Battlin' Bears (24-4, 12-3), 79-54.
 
The Bulldogs started the first quarter with the lead, but once the Battlin' Bears gained momentum, the Bulldogs couldn't match it. Montana Western had eight fouls in the first compared to Rocky's two; Rocky shot 11 free throws in the first quarter. By the half, Rocky led 45-28.
 
In the second half, Montana Western put 26 total points on the board; the Battlin' Bears had 34.
