DILLON, Mont.—The Montana Western Bulldogs (14-9, 4-7) fell to the Orediggers of Montana Tech (12-14, 3-8) in their final regular season matchup, 68-56. 
 
The Orediggers went on a 9-2 run in the first three minutes of play. The Bulldogs brought the score to a 13-13 tie with two minutes left in the first, but Montana Tech added another three to the board. In the second, the Bulldogs outscored the Orediggers 21 to 14, and led the Orediggers 34-30 at the half.  
 
Montana Tech held the Bulldogs to just nine points in the third on 21 percent shooting from the field (3-14) and zero percent from the arc (0-5). Montana Western struggled to find their shot in the fourth, while the Orediggers couldn't miss; Montana Tech was 67 percent from the field (6-9) and 100 percent from the 3-point line (4-4). 
 
Inside the Box Score 

• Montana Tech shot 45 percent from the arc; the Bulldogs shot 20 percent.  
• The Orediggers had eight blocks; Montana Western had four.  
• Brynley Fitzgerald led the Bulldogs with 19 points; Mesa King added 13 points and eight rebounds.  
• Montana Western's Sydney Sheridan had four assists. 
• Tavia Rooney led Montana Tech with 20 points and eight rebounds.
