Off the Leash Series #1- Max Clark
Max Clark came to Montana Western as a transfer from Wallace State Community College (Hanceville, Ala.) in the fall of 2019. Prior to his time as a Bulldog, Clark had the second-best assist to turnover ratio of all national junior college players at 5.9 to 1. Clark continued on to become a two-time all-conference player for the Bulldogs that averaged 14.1 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game, and shot 47.9% from the floor during his senior season.
Clark recently had the opportunity to compete overseas with Vindicated Sports on their Denmark Tour 2022 in hopes to get picked up by a professional team in Europe. Clark spent a number of days in Copenhagen playing with teammates from around the United States. His trip included team practices, scrimmages in front of European coaches and general managers, and the opportunity to play against the Danish select team, which had players from all over Denmark. "The experience in Denmark was cool. It was my first time overseas so I got to experience new food, new people and a new culture." former Bulldog Max Clark said. "This opportunity I had going to Denmark is helping me a lot with finding a team to play for in Europe."
UMW will continue to support Max as he pursues his dream of playing professional basketball.
