DILLON, Mont. – Fall sports for UMW are in full swing for a second week in a row.

Volleyball
Fresh off of an outstanding 4-0 weekend in Havre, Mont., the Bulldog volleyball team will be traveling to Billings, Mont. to compete in the Frontier Conference Preseason Tournament. Their schedule will be as follows:
                Thursday 9/15 vs. University of Providence @ 5 p.m. MST
                Friday 9/16 vs. #14 Montana Tech @ 1 p.m. MST
                Saturday 9/17 vs. MSU-Northern @ 9 a.m. MST
                Saturday9/17 vs. RV Rocky Mountain @ 1 p.m. MST

RODEO
After a successful weekend in Cody, Wyo., the Montana Western Rodeo team will be on the road against this weekend traveling to Glendive Community College for a two-day rodeo event. The Bulldogs are coming off of a weekend where the men's team won the first rodeo and the women's team won the second rodeo at the Trapper Stampede. Harley Beasley won the women's all-around buckle last Saturday and there were numerous top five placings.

CROSS COUNTRY
UMW Cross Country had a change of plans for this week as the air quality postponed their original date for the Frontier Conference Preview Meet. The Bulldogs will now be traveling to Bozeman to compete at the MSU Cross Country Classic on Saturday. The women will be running a 5k starting at 9 a.m. and the women will be running an 8k beginning at 9:45 a.m. at the Bridger Creek Cross Country course.
 
FOOTBALL
The #19 ranked Bulldog football team (2-1) is looking to add to their two-game win streak as they travel to Havre, Mont. to face off with MSU-Northern (0-2) on Saturday @ 1 p.m. MST. Western comes into the matchup after a big 35-14 win over RV Dickinson State last week. MSU-Northern comes into the contest after a bye last week. A win for the Bulldogs would give them their second win in conference play this season.
