BILLINGS, Mont. — The Bulldog Men's Basketball team lost today's matchup against the Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears 82-69. The Bulldogs are now 8-15 on the season and 3-7 in conference play.
How It Happened
The Bulldogs were off to a hot start in the first half, shooting an impressive 60.7 percent from the field and 46.2 from the arc. The Bulldogs went into the half tied up with the Battlin' Bears at 43.
Jamal Stephenson got the offense moving as he led the Bulldogs across the first half with 14 points and four assists.
Early in the second half, Rocky took a quick 6-0 run and turned it into their largest lead of the game.
Michael Haverfield struck down the run with a good three-point play, bringing the score to 60-56.
The Battlin' Bears continued to outscore the Bulldogs down the stretch, getting out to as much as an 18-point lead before
Jok Jok put up five points to close out the game for the Bulldogs.
Rocky Mountain outshot the Bulldogs 48.5 percent to 31.8 across the second half, giving them the edge at 82-69.
