WHITEFISH, Mont.,– Brynley Fitzgerald of Montana Western was selected as the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference's Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the third time this season. The No. 15 Montana Western Bulldogs went 2-0 for the week. In Great Falls, the Bulldogs beat the University of Providence 78-60 and at home, thumped MSU-Northern 73-47.

Fitzgerald is a 5-foot-11 senior guard from Dillon, Mont. She averaged 26.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and two steals per game. She was 17 of 28 from field (60.7 percent), 9 of 15 in 3-point field goals (60 percent) and 10 of 13 from free throw line.

Fitzgerald recorded her fourth 30-point performance of the season against Providence as she broke 1600 career points. She totaled 31 points, five rebounds, and three assists. She also tied a career high of six three-pointers after her 6-9 performance against the Argos.
