KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2022-23 Women's Basketball All-America Teams.
Brynley Fitzgerald earned First Team All-American honors.
Fitzgerald, a senior from Dillon, Mont., quickly rose to become the second all-time leading scoring in Montana Western women's basketball history. She accumulated 1797 points as a Bulldog, leading UMW this season with an average of 18.1 points per game, 6.7 rebounds per game, and shooting 43.0 percent from the field. Fitzgerald earned Frontier Conference Co-Player of the Year, WBCA All America Honorable Mention, and First Team All-Conference honors. She also earned CSC First Team Academic All-America honors. Fitzgerald previously earned Third Team All-American honors after the 2020-21 and 2021-2022 seasons.
All of the selections are made by the All-America Committee and are comprised of first, second and third teams as well as honorable mention. There are 12 members on each of the first three All-America teams.
