RODEO

The Montana Western rodeo team is back in action this weekend with a four-day event hosted by MSU-Northern. The event will be held at the Great Northern Fairgrounds in Havre, Mont. Results from the event will be posted following the event.

VOLLEYBALL

The Montana Western volleyball team (13-1) enters conference play this week after they finished the Preseason Conference Tournament this past weekend. The Bulldogs enter conference play after posting their best start to a season in program history. The Bulldogs currently have the best record in the conference as they enter league play. The Bulldogs will take on MSU-Northern on Friday September 22 at 7p.m. in Havre, Mont.

FOOTBALL

The Montana Western football team (2-1) leaves behind a week that saw the defeat of NCAA Division III opponent Lewis & Clark College (Ore.) by a score of 49-13. The Bulldog defense stepped up to the plate as they recorded four sacks, two interceptions, and 9 tackles for loss in the win. Bulldog running back Kirven led the way after he rushed for a career high 137 yards and two touchdowns. The Bulldogs are back at home this week for a Frontier Conference matchup against Southern Oregon University. Kickoff is set for 1p.m. at Vigilante Field.
