Madisyn Frazier Receives Third Frontier Conference Defender of the Week Honor of the Season

HELENA, Mont. – Montana Western's Madisyn Frazier was named Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week for the third time in 2026, the league office announced Monday.

The award marks the third conference weekly honor of Frazier's career.

"So happy for Maddie to get Defender of the Week again," head coach Katie Lovett said. "She has been really reliable for us in the back court and has been a steady contributor."

Frazier was a force to be reckoned with defensively last weekend, helping the Bulldogs to another 2-0 week with four-set wins over Carroll and Rocky Mountain.

The senior posted 54 total digs across eight sets, averaging an impressive 6.75 digs per set while adding two assists and two aces.

Frazier registered 26 digs (6.5 per set) in Western's 3-1 win over the Fighting Saints Oct. 28.

She followed that with a 28-dig (7.0 digs per set) performance in the 3-1 win over the Battlin' Bears on senior night.

The Kalispell, Mont., native has tallied 20 or more digs in 13-straight matches and 15 matches on the year.
