Montana Western Rodeo Announces Fall Slate

DILLON, Mont. – The UMW rodeo team has released its 2026 fall schedule, head coach JT Robbins announced Friday.

The Bulldogs will compete in four rodeos during the fall semester and a further six in the spring.

The Red and Black open the season Sept. 11-12 at the Northwest College Rodeo in Cody, Wyo. The next weekend (Sept. 18-19) the team heads to Glendive, Mont. for the Dawson CC Rodeo.

The Bulldogs host their annual home rodeo Sept. 25- 26 at the Beaverhead County Fairgrounds in Dillon.

They wrap up the season at new Big Sky Region member Dickinson State Oct. 9-10 in Dickinson, N.D. DSU made the switch from the Great Plains Region to the Big Sky following the conclusion of the 2025-26 rodeo season.
