Biography

BULLDOG CAREER:
2019-20 (Senior) Played in 30 games, started 20 • averaged 23.2 minutes and 9.1 points a game • scored 273 points while shooting 69 percent from the floor • 176 rebounds, 25 assists, and 17 blocks • scored a career-high 20 points against Carroll on 1/31/20 • scored in double figures 14 times • recorded a 14 point-10 rebounds double-double vs. Carroll on 1/17/20 • Honorable Mention All-Conference selection • Daktronics Scholar Athlete • Academic All-Conference selection.

2018-19 (Junior) Played in 30 games, starting in eight • averaged 15.3 minutes and 4.5 points a game • scored 135 points while shooting 65.3 percent from the floor • 101 rebounds, 26 assists, and 10 blocks • Daktronics Scholar Athlete • Academic All-Conference selection.

2017-18 (Sophomore) Played in 17 games • averaged 5.5 minutes and 2.1 points a game • scored 35 points while shooting 64 percent from the floor • member of the team that advanced to the quarterfinals of the NAIA Tournament • academic all-conference selection.

Transferred to UMW following one season at Clark College (NWAC) and was eligible to play immediately in 2017.

BEFORE UMW:

2016-17 (Freshman) Played in 25 games • averaged 10.7 minutes and 2.9 points a game • scored 72 points while shooting 42.3 percent from the floor • 65 rebounds, 15 assists, and five blocks • member of the NWAC southern region title team. 

A 2016 graduate of Firth High School • led Firth High School to three straight state championships • 2A Idaho Statesman Player of the Year in 2013-14 and 2015-16 • three-time all-nuclear conference team selection • averaged 14 points and eight rebounds per game as a senior • Burkhart also lettered in football, track, and baseball • was an All-Nuclear Conference tight end twice and an All-League defensive end • All-Area team selection at tight end as a senior •  In track, he was a league champion in the high jump and qualified for state in the high jump twice and the long jump once • In baseball, he was part of the first state win for Firth High School in ten years.

PERSONAL: Born Connor Burkhart from Shelley, Idaho • son of Thomas and Nancy Burkhart • majoring in business administration.
