BULLDOG CAREER:
2018-19 (Freshman) Played in 19 games • averaged 5.1 minutes and 1.4 points a game • scored 26 points while shooting 47.8 percent from the floor • nine rebounds, three assists, and six steals • scored a season-high eight points against Yellowstone Christian.

After the 2017-18 season transferred to UMW from Montana State University (NCAA Div I) and was eligible to play immediately in 2018.

A 2017 graduate of Choteau High School • averaged 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists per game • shot 48 percent from the floor his senior season • won two State Championships.

PERSONAL: Born Darrien Garcia from Choteau, Mont. • He is the son of Jodi Thompson and Edgar Garcia • majoring in health and human performance.
