2016-17 (Freshman) Played in 27 games • averaged 8.8 minutes and 3.5 points a game • scored 95 points while shooting 36 percent from the floor • 23 rebounds, 10 assists, and four steals • scored a season-high 16 points against Univ. of Great Falls.

BEFORE UMW:
2016 graduate of Choteau High School • assisted fellow teammate Collin Achenbach in bringing Choteau High School its first state championship since 1969 • averaged 17 points per game during Choteau’s 2014-15 title run and undefeated season • class B district 1-B first-team selection • All-State selection • two-time state MVP.

PERSONAL: Born Derrek Durocher from Choteau, Mont. • son of Jody and Joeleen Durocher • his dad played football at Montana Western • siblings: Payge and Payton Durocher • majoring in health and human performance.
