BULLDOG CAREER:
2018-19 (Junior) Played in 29 games and stared 16 • averaged 15 minutes and six points a game • scored 173 points while shooting 58.3 percent from the floor • 114 rebounds, 26 assists, 22 steals, and six blocks • recorded a 12 point, 10 rebound double-double against Thompson Rivers • scored a season-high 13 points against Montana Tech.

Transferred to UMW following the 2017-18 season from North Iowa Area Community College (NJCAA) and was eligible to play immediately.    
  
BEFORE UMW:
2017-18 (Sophomore) played 30 games at North Iowa Area Community College • averaged 10.4 points, 8 rebounds a game • shot 45 percent from the floor, 30 percent from beyond the arc, and 64.6 percent from the charity stripe • made the all-conference team. 

2016-17 (Freshman)  Played in 13 games at Western Wyoming Community College • shot 52 percent from the floor.

A 2016 graduate of Roy High School • he was First-Team All-Region • named to the All-Area Team. 

PERSONAL: born Jaycob Payne from Roy, Utah • He is the son to Alan and Sandy Payne • made the Dean's List at NIACC  • majoring in business marketing.
