Montana Western, University of

 Nate comes to UMW from Madison, S.D. where he served as part of the athletic training team for the Dakota State University Trojans. While at Dakota State, Nate provided primary patient care for the sports of football, men’s basketball and track and field.

Nate is a graduate of the renowned University of Montana graduate program in Athletic Training. Since his graduation, he has earned advanced skills and certifications in the therapeutic applications of Blood Flow Restriction, PRRT, and is a Corrective Exercise Specialist. Schieffert is originally from Miles City, Mont. and played intercollegiate football for Dickinson State University.

Nate is an avid outdoorsman and loves all water sports. He is drawn to UMW and Dillon because of the recreational appeal of the area and the reputation of UMW and SCL Health for excellence in athletic healthcare.
