Samantha joins the University of Montana Western Athletic Training staff in the fall of 2019. Sam will be the primary athletic trainer for the Bulldog cheerleading, volleyball and rodeo programs.
Prior to joining the UMW athletic training staff she served as an assistant athletic at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. While at UMary she was the primary athletic trainer for the Cross-Country teams, Track & Field teams, and the men’s Wrestling team. While at the University of Mary the women’s track team won three consecutive NSIC conference championships, the cross-country team won two consecutive individual national championships, and the wrestling program produced several national qualifiers.
Prior to joining the staff at UMary, Sam worked as an athletic trainer for Select Physical therapy where she provided athletic training coverage for Cheyenne High School in Las Vegas, NV. Samantha also continues to serve as an athletic trainer for the USA wrestling organization.
Sam earned a B.S. in Athletic Training from the University of Mary in 2008. She went on to obtain a M.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2010.
A native of Elgin, North Dakota she enjoys swimming, biking, hiking, riding horse, and playing with her dogs, Hazel and Stella.
