The Bulldogs played really well against the second ranked team in the nation, and had the Warriors on the ropes, but in the end just couldn't get over the hump.
The Bulldogs took a four point lead into the fourth quarter, but couldn't hang on to the lead. They hit nine three-point shots in the game, but in the end poor free throw shooting once again plagued the Bulldogs, as the team shot just 36 percent.
Gotta make free throws. Head Coach
Lindsay Woolley said, It's hard to win games when you don't make free throws.
The Bulldogs played well defensively forcing 15 Warrior turnovers, but couldn't quite crack the Warrior zone defense. They sat in the zone all night, and we couldn't make a shot. Woolley said.
Senior
Aniese Palmore (Santa Monica, Calif.) lead the team with a double-double (12 points 11 rebounds) she also had four assists, a block and a steal. Fellow senior
Kaye Bignell had 11 points and nine rebounds.
The Bulldogs return home on Thursday Feb. 2 when they face the Argos of Great Falls University. Tip-off is set for 5:30 P.M.
