Story of the Day
The Bulldogs made the long trek to Ashland, Ore. to face the no. 7 team the nation in Southern Oregon. The Raiders complied nearly 600 yards of offense and took a 28-6 lead into the half. Bulldog quarterback Bennett Gibson threw for 382 yards and three touchdowns. But the Bulldogs turned the ball over four times and were unable to sustain any momentum. 

Stars of the Game
Melvin Walser had eight catches for 122 yards and touchdown.
Hunter Thomsen had 109 yards on 23 carries, bringing his season total to 858. He needs 204 yards to set the single season rushing record held by Sam Rutherford. 
Jason Ferris had 14 tackles.

Stat of the Game 
The Bulldogs lost the turnover battle 0-4.  They held SOU to just 77 yards on the ground but gave up 502 yards through the air.

The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs dropped to 4-5 overall and 4-4 in the Frontier Conference. The Raiders improved to 8-0.

The Bulldogs will travel to Helena, Mont. on Nov. 4 to take on the Carroll College Fighting Saints. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.
