The University of Montana Western Bulldogs fell in straight sets to the Orediggers of Montana Tech (13-25, 22-25, 17-25). The first set was close until the Orediggers used an 11-3 to break the set open. The second set was tightly contested with the Orediggers just edging out the Bulldogs to take a two-sets to none lead. The third set mirrored the first with the Orediggers used a 9-3 run to open up a lead and take the match.Â

Abbee Croninger had nine kills for a hitting percentage of 0.368. She also added three blocks.Â
Karen Kale had 16 assists and four digs.Â
Dylan Fowler recorded 19 digs.Â

The Bulldogs close out the home portion of their schedule on Sunday, Oct. 28 against Lewis-Clark State College. The match is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. Before the game there will be a short ceremony celebrating the 2018 senior.Â
