Story of the Day
The Montana Western Bulldogs opened up the conference portion of the 2018 season with a straight set loss to Carroll College (16-25, 17-25, 16-25). The Bulldogs played each set evenly going back and forth trading points with the Saints early on. But, they struggled later in the set unable to sustain any rallies, from there on the Saints would go on a run and close out each set. 

Stars of the Games
Kylie McCreee had nine kills (0.222 hitting percentage) and a block.
Dylan Fowler had 14 digs.
McKenna Fink recorded 23 assists, and nine digs.

The Bulldogs committed 19 hitting errors and had a hitting percentage of 0.089.

The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs fall to 4-7 overall and 0-1 in conference play. The Saints improved to 13-6 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
