Story of the Day
The Montana Western Bulldogs fell to No. 6 Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears in straight sets (18-25, 19-25, 11-25) Friday night in the Straugh Gymnasium. The Bulldogs, looking to bounce back from a tough loss the night before, were unable to mount any momentum to a strong Rocky team. The Bulldogs went on a run midway through the second set to cut a large deficit and close the gap, however Rocky was able to stand the charge and closed out the set. From then on out the Battlin' Bears were able to easily close out the third set and claim the victory.Â

Dylan Fowler recorded 27 digs.
Abbee Croninger had 10 kills and two blocks
Kyra Palmer had seven digs, five kills, and four blocks.Â

Leading the conference in digs per set with 6.8, Fowler averaged 9.0 a set.
The Bulldogs So Far
The Bulldogs fall to 4-8 overall and 0-2 in conference play. The Battlin' Bears improved to 12-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
